Where is God?

I found this in my email today. I get bits from the Urantia Book everyday. I am often surprised by the profundity of the material. There is within us a watcher, inspirator, care taker. When you realize that the real you is not the body you inhabit, or even your everyday monkey mind, but the watcher within that knows who you are and what you are, and rejoices in your being. then you truly know God.

Is God in Man?

Unless a divine lover lived in man, he could not unselfishly and spiritually love. Unless an interpreter lived in the mind, man could not truly realize the unity of the universe. Unless an evaluator dwelt with man, he could not possibly appraise moral values and recognize spiritual meanings.

Hi Prima Donna, I've studied the Urantia Book for 42 years and like you, I get a lot of spiritual nourishment from it. ne thing I would pint out is that the book says that we have both a fragment of God within us and a soul that is our spiritual identity. The God presence tries to guide our human will and soul Godward.

Thanks, Amadon. I appreciate your comment. Yes, I think likely the concept of a dual presence of God is a valid one. In fact, somehow God is all things, and only one. That is the mystery. Thanks for visiting. Can I add your spot to my list of links?
